I was relieved to find out today that we are one step closer to being a registered non-profit corporation. The State of Missouri accepted our paperwork! So now it is on to the IRS for not-for-profit approval!
Why is this important?
Our goal is to be able to allow any and all donations to Kick For Christ to be tax deductible. We have had many approach us about providing monetary donations to assist with the shipping costs. Shipping a cargo container to West Africa isn’t the cheapest thing in the world, and we have been absolutely blessed by the support we have received thus far. So, we want to at least do that for those that donate. We are starting from humble beginnings, and as we grow we’d like to give back even more.
